Adam Sanderson and Tyler Bexley win $10.4M patent defense verdict for leading video surveillance company

July 14, 2017

Adam Sanderson and Tyler Bexley represented Texas-based WatchGuard, a leading manufacture of surveillance systems for law enforcement, against claims that WatchGuard violated patents owned by competitor, Evicam. Evicam sought more than $10.4 million in damages plus a permanent injunction to prohibit WatchGuard from selling its products to law enforcement. After a week of trial, the jury invalidated one of Evicam’s patents and found no infringement of either patent.
