After another blockbuster year, Reese Marketos has been named as an honoree of Law360’s 2025 Practice Groups of the Year for Trials.
Law360 recognized Reese Marketos for driving monumental courtroom outcomes that demonstrate the breadth and depth of its trial skills, including a $1.64 billion whistleblower-side False Claims Act judgment, a $51.98 million trial judgment – and separate eve-of-trial settlement – against the same oil and gas opponent, an $8.93 million jury verdict for a Dallas real estate developer, and a defense trial win that cleared $90 million in claims lodged against a fintech firm.
RM was one of 90 law firms that rose to the top of approximately 800 submissions, and only one of five firms honored for trials – a highly competitive category. At 15 lawyers, Reese Marketos is among peers within that category that are roughly 20 to 200 times the firm’s size, demonstrating a tight-knit group of trial lawyers who consistently pack a punch when it comes to trying complex commercial cases to judges and juries.
The honor follows the individual recognition of four RM attorneys to Law360’s 2025 MVPs of the Year for trials, energy, and healthcare law. Reese Marketos had more trial lawyers recognized as 2025 MVPs than any other firm – tied with a full-service law firm that has more than 2,000 attorneys.
“We are honored to be recognized as one of the five top trial firms of the year,” said partner Tyler Bexley. “This recognition is a testament to the extraordinary depth of talent we’ve built at Reese Marketos and the relentless commitment our attorneys bring to every case. We’re proud that our lawyers’ collective efforts continue to deliver exceptional results for our clients, and we look forward to another great year in 2026.”
